Catharsis

What is this feeling

In which I find myself tied

The absence of delight

Of magic , when I feel mystified

what is this abyss

in which I find myself falling

the fear of not being at the top forever

the terror of loss, of failing

the immense sense of the personal

the grief showcased in the open

is the act of catharsis

not one of being broken

what life teaches us

is that it’s not a pantomime

that not all music has rhythm

that not all poems rhyme

the dew drop on the morning leaf

the sun kissed morning of joy

are the little gifts of heaven

of happiness from the sky

I feel pain, I cry, I seek joy

In life and its daily grind

But that is what makes it worthwhile

Isn't that life’s greatest find!

Oh you, Dream!

Show me no hope, oh dream
if you will not come true
do not lay claim to my future,
my past did not belong to you

let me enjoy my solitude
i can live in my own sorrow
but do not be my today
if you wont be there tomorrow

colours in my life
create cacophony unknown
perhaps 'tis better
if am by myself, alone

so go away you,
delay me no longer dream
incandescent in your blaze
I wish to no longer stream

let me soak in the delight
the truism of reality supreme
clear the webs, the clouds, the tie
betwixt reality and you, oh dream!
